| Payment Deadline | The rental fee must be paid in full in advance. After applying for a reservation, please make your payment by the deadline notified by our company. Your reservation will be confirmed once we confirm your payment. |
| Time of Vehicle Handover | After your reservation is confirmed, the vehicle will be handed over at the designated rental location at the start date and time specified at the time of reservation. |
| Required Fees Other Than the Rental Fee | Depending on your rental details, extension fees, additional compensation fees, optional equipment fees, vehicle delivery & collection fees, pet fees, and Quick Return fees may apply (see the “Fees & Reservations” page for amounts). Fuel costs, tolls, parking fees, and other expenses incurred during the rental period are the customer’s responsibility. Please note that customers are also responsible for bank transfer fees. |
| About Cancellations | If you need to cancel your reservation due to unavoidable circumstances, the following cancellation fees will apply as a percentage of the total rental fee: ・From the date the reservation is confirmed until 31 days before the rental start date: 10% ・From 30 days to 15 days before the rental start date: 20% ・From 14 days to 8 days before the rental start date: 30% ・From 7 days to 2 days before the rental start date: 50% ・The day before the rental start date: 80% ・On the rental start date, including cases where the scheduled rental start time has passed without prior notice: 100% The refund amount will be calculated by deducting the applicable cancellation fee and an administrative fee of JPY 1,100 (tax included) from the rental fee already paid. If the refund is made by bank transfer, the bank transfer fee will be borne by the customer. Cancellation fees will be waived, provided that supporting documentation is submitted, in cases such as the declaration of a state of emergency, cancellation of the customer’s scheduled flight, natural disasters including earthquakes or typhoons, or suspension of public transportation services. |
