After you apply through the reservation form, we will inform you of the rental fee amount and payment deadline. If you pay the full amount by the deadline and we confirm your payment, your reservation will be confirmed. If payment is not made by the deadline, your application will become invalid (in this case, no cancellation fee will be charged).

Can you request just a quote?

Yes, it is possible. If you send your preferred dates and options through our reservation form, we will also provide only estimates via our official LINE or WhatsApp account.

What do you need when renting?

* If trash or portable toilet waste remains inside the vehicle, a disposal and cleaning fee of 10,000 yen (tax included) will be charged.

* Special cleaning fees for pet accompaniment, sand, mud, vomit, etc.as well as restoration costs for odors and dirt inside the car, will be charged separately even when using Quick Return.

What is Quick Return?

*Even when using Quick Return, additional charges will be charged for pet ride-in fees, special cleaning costs for sand, mud, vomiting, etc. (actual expenses), restoration costs for interior odors and dirt, and non-operation charges.

※ If the fuel tank is not full at the time of return (regardless of the amount left), the same fee will be charged as if you applied for the Quick Return.

If you are from overseas, please bring an international driver’s license and passport that allow you to drive within Japan. However, if you use a license from the following countries or regions, you will need a “passport,” “your country’s driver’s license,” and a Japanese translation.

【Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Monaco】

For overseas visitors, we recommend purchasing overseas travel insurance that covers rental car repair costs in advance, or enrolling in our additional coverage plan.

Can I change my reservation?

Yes. Reservation changes are free up to three times, and from the fourth time onward, a fee of 1,100 yen (tax included) will be charged per booking.

If such changes due to shortened rental periods result in actual cancellation of the reservation, the cancellation fee for the reduced portion will be applied.

About Insurance and Coverage

INSURANCE

What happens to out-of-pocket expenses in case of an accident?

In the unlikely event of an accident, we can apply the personal injury and property insurance that our vehicle has covered.

However, as deductibles, the vehicle is 100,000 yen, property damage is 100,000 yen, and the suspension compensation fee (non-operation charge) is up to 300,000 yen.In the event of an accident, the out-of-pocket payment can exceed 500,000 yen.

If you enroll in the additional compensation plan (6,600 yen including tax per day), the deductible (100,000 yen for vehicles and 100,000 yen for property damage) becomes zero, and you are also exempt from paying the suspension compensation fee (up to 300,000 yen). Since camper van parts are expensive, we strongly recommend enrolling.

* For information on exemptions from additional coverage, please see below: “If you are included in additional coverage, is there zero out-of-pocket for any accident?” Also, accidents without police notification or accidents caused by drivers not listed on the rental certificate are not covered by insurance and coverage, and you will be responsible for all repair costs and other damages.

What kind of system is additional compensation?

This system covers 6,600 yen per day including tax, exempting you from paying deductibles for property and vehicles (100,000 yen each) and paying non-operation charges. The enrollment fee is capped at 15 days’ worth (¥99,000 incl. tax); payment of 15 days’ worth covers the entire rental period (if the rental period exceeds one month, the maximum is 15 days per month).

Costs related to damage, soiling, and odors related to interior equipment, equipment, and interior decorations can be waived up to 100,000 yen per accident if you enroll in additional coverage (any excess is actual cost).Additional coverage can only be enrolled at the time the rental contract is signed; enrollment or cancellation after signing is not possible.

If I have additional coverage, is there zero out-of-pocket for any accident?

No. In the following cases, the waiver does not apply even if you enroll in additional coverage, and you will be responsible for the deductible and non-operation charges.

・Accidents, contacts, or property damage occurring during reverse (reverse driving) (when parking, passengers must get out and guide the vehicle)
・Accidents, contacts, or property damage caused by entering roofs, eaves, gates, or other places with structures above (including multi-story parking garages, coin-operated parking lots, drive-thru, and campgrounds with many trees) (entry is prohibited regardless of height)
・Rear-end collision with a vehicle or stopped object in front
・Collisions or contact with guardrails, utility poles, buildings, walls, signs, trees, etc., where the other vehicle is not present
・If there is no contact from the scene of the accident to our company
・Accidents that fall under the exemption or prohibited acts of the terms and conditions or insurance terms

Additionally, in the following cases, insurance and compensation systems do not apply, and you will be responsible for all repair costs and other damages.

・If no police report is made at the time of the accident
・Incorrect fuel type due to self-refueling (including engine damage and fuel tank cleaning costs)
・Damage caused by climbing onto the roof of the vehicle
・Accidents caused by drivers not listed on the rental certificate (those who do not present a driver’s license)
・If you reach a settlement or similar agreement with the other party without our company’s consent, such as loss of keys, driving under the influence of alcohol, intoxication, or drugs, or damages caused by earthquakes, tsunamis, or eruptions, etc.

* Damages caused by fire or other damage caused by rechargeable battery devices such as mobile batteries brought in by customers are not covered by insurance or compensation systems, and you will be responsible for the full cost regardless of whether additional coverage is enrolled.

What is NOC (Non-Operation Charge)?

If repairs, cleaning, etc. are required due to accidents, theft, breakdowns, soiling, odors, etc., this fee is paid separately from the damage compensation as part of the business coverage during that period. The maximum is 15,000 yen per day of vehicle downtime, and 300,000 yen for 20 days. This charge applies regardless of the extent of the damage or whether the vehicle can be driven back. If you enroll in additional coverage, this is exempt (excluding exclusions).

How are costs settled in the event of an accident?

If damage to the vehicle or interior equipment is confirmed upon return, you will be required to pay the total actual cost of the deductible, non-operation charge, repair costs, etc. as a deposit, either by credit card or cash. After repairs and restoration are completed, the actual cost will be finalized, and any difference will be settled and refunded.
